Hey, if roiller hockey really takes off, maybe we could get a bunch of guys together, form teams and organize a league?
Do we need a special puck or goalies?
I hear that a company is planning on making some new "roil-a-pucks." ...
let's call the LeGolie guy, maybe he can make us some "Roil-a-goalies." I personally would like to shoot on the "Patrick Roil - Avalanche" model...

Big opening ceremony for next spring's Roiller Hockey International league opener...featuring former Boston Bruins Terry O'Roiley, and Roimond Borque...
missionhockey21

With a name like Roimond Borque, it would be the best sports opener in history.

I just got off the phone with Roimond, and he said he would bring a bucket full of autographed, Boibby Oirr pucks!

I heard he's still applying for the patents. Gave up on the Cage patents because he couldn't stick the landing.

Hey DannyG,
You started a pretty good humorous thread with your post. Have any intention of playing for the Edmonton Roillers?
Sincerely,

Hey, jon..."people in glass houses shouldn't throw stoines!"
DannyG
02-13-2003, 02:59 AM
which causes me to think that we need the Roilling Stoines to perform at the RHI opener mentioned above...

It was just a typo, since then I've discovered the Spell Check button for my posts, and hey this is a pretty funny thread.

Hey its the official "running joke" on IHC.
DannyG
02-13-2003, 05:41 PM
yeah, and my biggest problem is the errors of omission, like "layer" instead of "player." Although I admit that I have hit the old "oi" combination play myself a bunch...
maybe we should establish some ground rules like "one do-over per week," or some such...
although, gentlemen's honor (which I guess is a loose connection to hockey players), if you do make a goof that somebody has fun with, you cannot go back and edit out the mistake, which would make all the rest of us look like blithering idiots (more so than usual)...
missionhockey21

I am glad we've established the typo error rules, whats a board without tyor rules. I do agree that no one should be allowed to go back and change it to make us look like fools ;-)
columbus_RHstar
02-13-2003, 06:45 PM
Actually when I went to edit it after I realized the mistake, it told me I had waited too long to edit it and I couldn't.
DannyG

Hey, stick with me, and you won't go too far wrong...
In all fairness to the Hockey Gods, I am perfectly capable of making a fool of myself without any extraneous help...
