I am writing this to the board to see if anyone out there has a pair of shoulder pads that are protective, but comfortable at the same time. I had easton, the old blue ones from years ago, but they were too puffy and made me look like the stay puft marshmallow man. I bought a pair of Nike quest's, and think they too, are restricting my upper body movement. I am thinking of looking to the lacrosse market to find a pair of my liking. The fact is, I want to be as macho as many of the guys in MLRH are, but, don't feel like having shoulder pains the whole week after one game. It is the smart thing to do, especially if you have ones that feel like you aren't wearing anything. Please help me and direct me to the right places to search....

I would go with lacrosee shoulder pads. I have an older pair of brines that are fantastic. They are lightweight, durable, protective, and dont make you look like a football player on the surface.
