Ball State at ECRHA

Ball State can answer for themselves, but my opinion is that Ball State is a first-class organization. I watched 3 of their 4 games and although they ended up losing all four, they never stopped skating, even when they were getting spanked by a much more experienced Buffalo Wings semi-pro squad. Some of the guys came up to me on Sunday and they all told me they were having a great time and really appreciated the opportunity to come out East to play some ECRHA teams.

One of the player's father came up to me after their game against SUNY Buffalo and told me some inside info about the team. It's really scary to think that if that team had even a half-way decent place to practice and any kind of coaching what that team could do.

Thanks to Ball State for coming to Buffalo and showing us the class of the Midwest.

Although I couldn't attend the event with the team, I am very happy we were able to participate. Our one goal in going to Buffalo was to help prepare for nationals. Although we came up short in the games, I'm sure the guys are hungry to prove themselves the next time we are in the Eastern Region (nationals).

I appreciate the kind words from Benny, and I apologize I couldn't attend because I was very excited to see how the East is run, and to meet some of the people I've been talking to recently.
