I need some advice/suggestions on cleaning my equipment, speciffically my girdle. Not just defunking, but really cleaning. I've gotten a pretty awful fungal infection on my thighs that I'm sure keeps recurring because of my girdle, even though I wash it once a week and dry it out. Any help is appreciated.

I put my girdle in the washer (take the belt off if you can) and theres never been any issues with it since i put it in the washer. Just wash it like you would normal clothes.

Thats what we do at our house. We wash our girdles like we would with our clothes, except we only do it about every month or two.

Hi Headhunter,
I use Sonic's Aroma, then put my equipment out in the sun to dry. I imagine I'll wash the stuff one day, but so far, I haven't had to.
Sincerely,

maybe you are not getting all the soap rinsed out from the pad pockets and having an allergic reaction to the soap.
Also I have suggested this before - try "contact N" from Vaportek - you may have to get it directly from the company though. This product is a biological treatment that encapsulates then breaks down the offending microbes and then itself biodegrades over time. I dont know that it is actually an antiseptic, it is advertised strictly as an "odor eater". It's amazing stuff - even cleaned my dog after she got sprayed by a skunk from about 10" away - could let her in the house a few hours later.
I'ts a new product they just released for testing last fall and I got it when looking for some way to treat my dog - found them on the internet. Has turned my son's hockey bag into a "civilzed" area - and he has always been one of the teams worst offenders. Works on skates and gloves as well. About $10.00 / quart bottle with a quirt atomizer. Leaves no masking odor either. With the deep seated odors from modern hockey gloves (synthetic stuffing materials smell like cat pee untreated and even after washed several times - I used to blame the local tom cat for sneaking into my back room and peeing in my coaches bag - to excuse the smell when my gloves were "exposed" in the coaches locker room) web site is www.vaportek.com - and no I do not have any commercial involvement lol - although I'm thinking about it.
