LINCOLN, Neb.-USA Roller Sports Men's Inline Hockey Team Trials for Pan American Games will be held April 12, 2003 at the Team Labeda Test Facility located at 29910 O'Hana Circle in Lake Elsinore, Calif. Registration for the trials will be from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Players must be on the floor by 6:00 p.m. The cost for registration is $50.00 in advance and $75.00 at the door. All participating athletes must be members of USARS and be at least 14 years of age. Up to 20 players will be selected from the team trials to compete in the final USA Team tryouts.
The final USA Team tryout will be held May 29 through June 1 at the Soc N' Roll Indoor Sports Center located at 16240 Old Denver Hwy in Colorado Springs, Colo. Accommodations at the Olympic Training Center will be made available for all participating athletes. Thirty athletes from the 2002 Elite Hockey National Championships and 20 players from the Lake Elsinore tryout will compete for ten spots on the USA Team that will represent the United States at the 2003 Pan American Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, from August 11 through August 14.
