Inline Hockey Central and Black Biscuit are proud to announce a new contest on Inline Hockey Central. Black Biscuit has graciously offered some very cool Biscuit clothing as contest prizes.

The contest is open only to registered readers of Inline Hockey Central's Message Board.

This contest will award three IHC readers a hip knitted black beanie.

To win, readers must find as many "dead" links on IHC's Links section as they can by Sunday, November 19 at 12 p.m. PST. As a tie-breaker, add one link that you feel SHOULD be dead :)

Winners of Black Biscuit contests 1 & 2 are not eligible, nor are people affiliated with Inline Hockey Central.

You ain't seen slick yet. For the next contest, readers will have to write the editorial for every department on Inline Hockey Central for 2001. That way, I can do what I do when I'm not working here -- play inline hockey.

Your assignment, Evman, is to write a 4,000-word feature on how inline hockey is growing in Texas. :)

Hi Jon,

The counting of ballots is still continuing. Winners were announced so as not to cause anxiety in the international inline hockey community. Apparently, some ballots were counted by FIRS employees, others by IIHF staffers. Once the Supreme Court has had a chance to review aberrations in the links-counting procedure in Florida, we will make an announcement on IHC.

.... At any rate, Black Biscuit beanies will not be mailed out until final numbers are certified. Regardless, we are anticipating that suits may be filed, and we will wait until all appeals are heard before we announce a final winner.
