I've always been an ice hockey fan as far as spectator goes, but an inline player. So I havent kept up that much with RHI. Has something happened to it?

Hi Dave,

Apparently, RHI has gone on permanent "hiatus." Which is a shame. I enjoyed going to the games in California, and even got to the 1995 championship series in Buffalo and the All-Star games in Vancouver and St. Louis, among other RHI events. The most exciting was perhaps the Anaheim Bullfrogs' home opener, when some 13,000 spectators (not just announced; real) attended. If I remember correctly, it was only the second event that the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim had hosted; the first being a Barry Manilow concert. LOL.

Various groups are working on creating a pro inline hockey league with all the elements that will make it succeed long-term. Time will tell. But I don't expect to see anything with the high profile of Roller Hockey International for quite some time.

Sincerely,
