I mentioned this stuff in another discussion - about "funk" - it's called "Product N" from Vaportek - an industrial cleaning supply manufacturer - but it's not on the shelf at your local chain stores. This stuff really works - with no masking smell. It actually encapsulates the offending odor molecules then digests them biologically. I removed skunk odor from my dog in an hour using this stuff - just sprayed her down with it. Perfectly safe too. Have used it on my son's skates gloves etc. - he is famous (or was) for the most offensive bag in the locker room. The odor will come back with continued use of the equipment so the treatment needs to be repeated regularily of course - but IT WORKS.

Where do they sell Vaportek?

I have called the manufacturer today to find out - they do have distributors for their products in most major areas though - will let you know. They sent me a sample to try out on my dog in October so I didn't have to buy it. I then used it on the hockey equipment and found it worked great. Will let you know approx. pricing as well

Try looking them up on the internet under vaportek they are to be found there - I am waiting for pricing and locations myself - although I'm still working on the first bottle - They must be used to airline contracts and the like - I am having trouble getting anyone interested in selling a few cases lol. When I asked about sales they cut me off - in this econcomy???? They said it was inadvertent lol.

Nonetheless it's worth pursuing - and when and if they actually do respond (made two calls to them so far)I will post the info.
