i have bought a ton of wheels, i swear i have tried them all. and they all seem to work great for about a week, then they stop sticking. i know a lot of people who buy wheels and they are happy for a three months. i buy my wheels and after a week goest by they dont stick, i cant even push off hard without losing my footting. i would think that the stuff on the very outside of a wheel is as good as the stuff in the middle, aparently this is not so. do i need to clean my wheels? why wont they stick.

When the wheels get bad wash them or use rubbing alcohol. that always works for me. and i am not familiar with the chemistry of wheels, but i do know once the outside coating wears off the wheels will not stick as well. like i have said before if you r a bigger player and skate hard the Hyper formula G or Labeda Grippers are the best. they last the longest and stick great.

this is simpler, what surface are you skateing on? are your skates contacting a oil based surface?

it would help to clean them, but that is a hassle.

If you are on spourt courts, i suggest the labeda milleniums(purple, x-soft) they are the grippiest wheel out there. The do "crack" and show signs of wear quicker than harder wheels, not a week tho, but they stick with cracks, these things stick forever, so they look bad but stick well.
