Proposal To Twin, From Albany Creek Inline Roller Hockey Club Queensland Australia
Aim - To foster an ongoing exchange of idea's, and information relating to club structure, management, sponsorship, training and skill development. Thereby promoting the sport and the skill level of all players.
What Our Club Can Offer-
1- As the above aim at a Club Management level.
2- Individual teams of the same age group can twin and exchange news results etc. [ a few of our player are after swapping team shirts]
3- Individual player may wish to become Pen [I know that?s old hat] or E-mail, Chat or game pals over the Internet. Given the common interests of the various age groups, i.e hockey, skateboarding etc, quite a number would take this up.
4- Hopefully in the future we would like to look at sending our Club Coach over to the twin club to enhance the exchange of information and increase his/ her level of experience. [Our club coach at present is Henri Treblanche. One of Australia's Team Goalie]
5- Accept visiting official, coach, as guest of the club [guest- offer of free board and lodging with one of our clubs families, and generally show around]. Skill clinics could be organised for the visiting coach to profit from.
6- Accept visiting player/players as guest of the club. [individual players can play with our teams as long as the twined club is affiliated with the International Ice Hockey Federation]
7- With twined club, work towards the possibility of sending team/teams to taker part in appropriate tournaments in each other?s country.
