With all the pie-in-the-sky, we're going to be great, stuff from Lou Marciano, he sounds like he's going to start a pro roller hockey league. Big promise, little execution.

Remember Bernie Mullen, who RHI hired and who was going to cure all the ailments afflicting pro inline hockey? And he turned out to be the grave digger who threw the last shovelful of dirt on RHI's casket. This sounds like the same "Expert From A Far" syndrome.

What is amusing is that L.M. actually thinks the new name of USA Roller Skating is a progressive move. USA Roller Skating?

The sprinters/ marathoner analogy is one used by every NGB against private enterprise. It is actually a cliche taught in NGB 101.

FACT: There isn't a single individual on the USA Roller Skating board of directos who knows anything about inline hockey. Figure skating? yes; speed skating? yes; round-and-round-we-go skating? yes. Inline hockey, NO.
