I won't be able to play in any leagues for a while. I have to get money problems solved. I was wondering what is some good ways to help keep in hockey shape without having to play. What i am asking is what are some good training ideas. I am not in good shape and it was starting to show in my performance and icould feel how it was affecting me. If anyone has any ideas could you plase share them with me.

Do you have any local gyms in your surrounding area? If you do go there and see if you can find a personal trainer (usually there should be one there), the personal trainer knows what specific workouts you need to focus on for the hockey season. If you have no luck with finding a personal trainer in your area, try the internet. Look up hockey training and strength training exercises. Some you can do in your home, same can only be done with weight machines. Here is a site that has some tips for training.

Thanks for the info. I find so great information there. I also went today and bought a book about off season training. I also found a couple of websites.
