I will be traveling to America mid December to catch some hockey. I played out in Venice last year and loved it there but it was much earlier in the year. I want to know if the guys out there will be playing as late as dec 17?
Please please let me know.

Venice Beach? I think you mean Santa Monica.

We used to play in Venice about 12 years ago, but that was before our little corner was turned into a police substation... :)

Yes, people will be playing, but on weekends and holidays only, as it will be too dark to play after work.

I will email you when I come over. Where else can I play pickup? any indoor venues or ice?

If you're in that general area, you could go to Healthsouth Training Center, in El Segundo. They have 1 roller and 2 ice surfaces...with ice pickup all the time. I'm not sure about roller pickup. Also there is Culver City Ice Arena, they have a ton of pickup, at lunch on weekdays and also Sunday mornings I believe.
