hi guys,

i'd be intrested to think what some of you reckon to be the
best hockey films out there?

well obviously enough - Mystery Alaska, and Slapshot are up there as pretty geat films in my book.
then there is the mighty ducks 1,2,3.

i dont think that sudden Death with Jean claude van damme and powers booth really counts cause its more of a action/ hostage thriller movie.

i'd be interestd to hear yer thoughts, eg.
Les Bhoys (ive never seen it, only heard of it and my french isnt up to that standard but is taht any good?)

Easily the best hockey movie ever is Slapshot.

My favorite is Slapshot. My kids like the Mighty Ducks movies and MVP - Most Valuable Primate.

Slapshot is THE classic. By the way, don't even try to watch Slapshot 2 (w/ Gary Busey/ Stephen Baldwin), you'll be dissapointed.

I'd say the #2 hockey movie has gotta be Youngblood. Lots of "stars before they were stars". Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze, Keanu Reaves. A little more serious hockey than Slapshot but has a lot of humor too.
