I need some help here w/ choosin skates

I need new skates. i have mission proto vsi 2001 w/o vibe and i was looking to buy some new skates but i dont know which ones to buy. my friend hates mission and loves tour saying there quality is really good and there really comfortable but i like missions and i have never really had any problems at all with them except a blister or two. i want the new type m's from mission but i dont know if i should get them or the new g90's. there the same price but i dont know which is better. i want the mini bearings b/c there freakin awesome and are really light but if i have to ill buy them after i buy the skates in tours case. so if i could get some input from both mission liking dudes and tour likin dudes that would be helpful.

p.s. im looking for a comfortable and good looking skate and personally i think the g90s are pretty hidious.

Everyone I know who has gotten the tour g90's says they are great. I tried my friends on and they were really comfortable and light.I have the proto vsi's and were disappointed in them, due to they did not live up to the hype that mission was proclaiming. It's going to be awhile till I have enough to get the tour's or anything for that matter and by that time the mission's 2003 lineup will be out so maybe you should wait and see if you like the missions better. Dont worry about bearings and looks of the skates because thats what i went with the 2001 vsi vibes and they looked great and the wheels spin for like a half hour but on the rink they didn't even compare to my old wicked lites from 2000. I've been wearing missions since 1996 and loved all of them except my last pair where as my brother has always skated tour for their comfort level and never has complained even with the lack of flashy design or mini bearings. Hope this helps in your descion making on getting new skates :)

i would say tours all the way. anything you can afford, go for the g90's if you can afford em.

thx guys this helps. i think i was going to wait and see what the new missions are goin to be like and then ill make my decision, but id really like to talk to some one that has the type m missions.......

This might not help to much but I have Mission Rmx and I am soon getting the Rtx. Two other skaters on my team also have the Rmx and say that they are very comftorable so I would assume that the Type M's are just as comfortable and have higher quality.

cool thnx i was hoping to get two sides to the store as i kinda have a biased with mission b/c ive had two other pairs of there skates bfore
