Hey you guys should check out www.missionrh.com, they released info on their new one piece shaft M-1. Hmm, maybe easton finally has some competition with it's synergy. If anything the M-1 looks and sounds impressive.

I recently wrote in the product review section of this message board a question to all inline hockey players. I needed new skates and asked for any input. I didnt get much input but read about the new missin skates on the website. I was affraid to get them because of the stupid vibe, but after reading there website i was convinced that the vibe might actually help in sharp turns and stops like mission touted it would. well they couldnt have been bigger liars. I got the new missions, the type m's, and immediatley had a problem with the front shock, know matter how tight i made it, it would bounce up and down when i went to accelerate. i returned them because it was supposed to have been a defect. I then ordered the rpm's, figuring that it only had a shock in the back. The stupid shock doesnt work at all and when you go to stop or turn sharp the plastic piece from the shock catches the floor and you wipe out like a scrub who cant skate. missions web site gave all this false info about the vibe just to sell the junk they had made. i called mission and they said they can sell me a adapter to take the vibe off. after paying full price for there garbage skates i had to pay 25 dollars for this piece of metal to install on the chasis. well that was enough mission in my roller hockey lifetime. i then sold those piece of junk mission rpm's for 200 dollars and took a big loss on them. happy just to have gotten rid of them. then i ordered the new tour g90's. let me tell how comfy and stiff yet smooth this skate is. it even came with labeda chasis and dynasty wheels. i will never buy mission junk again, and its nuts how much they could lie to roler hockey players about the vibe, like when you use it your not gonna reallize it was a scam.

I saw the tour g90's, and they do look pretty awesome. But on the subject of mission products, yes they do make a lot of junk: the dangler shaft, all of their pants, not to mention those helmets they made that you can find for $15 bucks on ebay. But I bought the 2001 Mission Vsi with the vibes and loved them, espically the improved turning. Some players also feel the same way, and some hate it for the exact same reason as you. I remember many people 5 years ago didnt like hi-lo's, but they finally caught on and I think if mission tweaks the vibe to accomadate people's preferences that it'll catch on the same way. Or who knows someone like tour or nexed could improve them. Anyways just a few of my thoughts on the ever-changing technology or roller hockey.
