I know that FIRS and IIHF met to get agree and make only one world championship
Does someone know if those discussions will give a result?

There is an interesting series of information bulletins on this topic, available for reading on the FIRS (Federation of International Roller Sports) website.

Go to: www.rollersports.org

Go to: Topics

Go to: General (the red button)

Search for "iihf" 7 links will be returned, the oldest being Wednesday Mach 14, (2001)

Read all seven information bulletins.

Then return to the "Topics" page.

Go to: Inline Hockey (the green button)

Search for "iihf" 3 links will be returned,

The most intriguing comment is to be found in the bulletin dated Monday, March 11, (2002)

Scroll down the bulletin to: VIII Men?s World In-Line Hockey Championships

Then read onward. You may then draw your own conclusions.

I have visited the IIHF site: www.iihf.com and have searched for "FIRS" on their front (home) page, search facility.
A number of links were returned none of which contained the required string "FIRS".

I then moved to their "In Line" page, where there is no search facility.

You will then have available all the information available to the public from both organisations, from which you will be able to draw your own conclusions as to any progress which is (or, is not) being made with this topic.

Have a good read and enjoy.
