View Full Version : Temporary (?) Change

Hi Folks,

Some old cliches live forever. Like the old saying about one bad apple spoiling the whole barrel.

Every once in a while, some loser with more whine than spine attempts to disrupt the good thing we've got going on the Inline Hockey Central Message Boards.

The inevitable cries of "Censorship!" will likely follow, but I don't mind... it's MY web site. /wtimages/icons/laugh.gif

So, I've decided to temporarily ban anonymous postings.

I've always felt it's gutless to attack people anonymously anyway, so it's not much of a stretch for me to make this change. I hope most IHC's readers will appreciate the reasons behind it, and I have a feeling they will.

Thanks for you continued support.

Sincerely,

Richard Graham

I totally agree with you! If people had an honest gripe, so some constructive criticism, then by adding your name/username would be no problem. It's usually those with a lower intelligence level that act like babies and never show who they are.

What genuinely shocks me about the whole thing... why hasn't there yet been a smartass that makes his username "anonymous"?? I mean, come on... that's a gimme!

Why make it temporary? Its too simple to register for this board, all it takes is a couple seconds to do, and will make it easier to get rid of stupid people. So, I would hope that anonomous posting should be gone forever.
