Hey,
What do you guys eat before a game? Say it's a night game, about 9 p.m. How late do you eat, and how much?

For a 9:00 game, I'd eat around 6:00. Either rice with stir fry veggies with chicken or some other meat. If I go with pasta, I usually go with a cream sauce and not a tomato sauce.... and I don't eat a lot. Too much pasta can actually weigh you down and make you retain water. That's teh worst.... you get water logged and it doesn't sweat out of you. You just get full and slushy.

I agree with Chandler and Columbus. Pasta is actually better 24 hours before because it gives your body time to break down the carbs. I always make sure I don't eat any later than 2 hours before my game and I usually eat rice and chicken plain.
