Hi Folks,

This Photo Gallery initially had some technical problems and didn't show up properly, but now it does. Please take a look, because it will show how inline hockey is growing internationally. Just as teams like Sweden can defeat Canada in the Olympics, it is inevitable that passionate sporting countries like Australia will eventually close the gap in sports like inline hockey.

(I wrote for Triathlete magazine from 1986-91 when Americans dominated the American-born sport. Now triathlon has been in the Olympics and athletes from England, Germany, Australia and Canada are as likely to be at the top of the leader board as Yanks.)
