Delco Demons Iron-man Tournament - 1/14/2012, 4 Skill Divisions, Cash and Prizes!
The Demons are hosting their third Iron Man tournament of the year, and this time we're going big. We're looking to host 4 divisions at this tournament, all with different prizes, including cash for the winners of the open divisions!
Each division is slotted for 6-8 teams, but can be expanded with enough demand. No division will run with less than 5 teams. Time Blocks are estimated based off a 6 team division, and can shift up to 2 hours in either direction to account for scheduling demands. The Demons will attempt to accommodate any scheduling concerns they can if made in advance.
All divisions will have a 5 game guarantee, all games are 8 minutes long, and all penalties are penalty shots. As always, complimentary beverages will be provided for players of all divisions before and after their games. Divisional details follow.
Recreational Division
Cost: $200/team.
Time Block: 1 - 4pm
Prize: Demons T-Shirts
Competition Level: C-South / D-North Mens League Level
Roster Limitations: No current AIHL Elite, No more than 1 current AIHL Minor league player on any team.
College Division
Cost: $200/team
Time Block: 4 - 7pm
Prize: 1 Set of Revision Wheels per player (goalie included)
Competition Level: Mix between ECRHA D1, D2, and B Levels
Roster Limitations: All rosters should be submitted beforehand to be checked against ECRHA website.
Open Tier1 Division
Cost: $250/team
Time Block: 7 - 10pm
Prize: $500 Cash
Competition Level: AIHL Elite League
Roster Limitations: No Roster Limitations
Open Tier 2 Division
Cost: $250/team
Time Block: 10pm-1am
Prize: $300 Cash
Competition Level: AIHL Minor League
Roster Limitations: No more than 1 current AIHL Elite League player on any team.
