Congratulations to Garrett Haar, an IHF High School Roller Hockey alum from Huntington Beach HS (SoCal), on his being drafted in the seventh round of the NHL draft by the Washington Capitals!

My son was blessed to play with both Rocco and Garrett with the OC Blades 93. Also Stefan Noesen (first rounder) played Roller with Texas State Wars 93 team a few times.

P.S. My son, CJ - a '91, used to skate with Garrett, and others you'd know, back in Mite days on Team Storm, and later against him in the IHF League. So fun watching these boys grow up! :)
