Torhs Winternationals

Anyone playing in the Torhs Winternationals? I bet alot of people are playing Narch Winternationals instead! Sucks that they schelduled both the same weekend. Well if your playing Torhs I'll see you there...watch out for us Fierce Cucumbers...I'm ready to play!

Yes, I'm not sure what TORHS was thinking, but I don't think scheduling the TORHS event the same weekend was a smart idea, especially if you're looking to maximize exposure to the tournament and gain credibility (how can you maximize exposure if most of your elite youth and adult teams are going to go to Winternationals?)

Perhaps next time, they'll stagger the schedule so these teams can get a look at both tournaments, and make a reasonable decision which is better. Because right now, I can guarantee if a team has to choose, they'll go with the tournament they already know (NARCh).

Amen! We wanted to play Narch and were all for it, but alot of our 14u players wanted to go to New York since we already have been to las vegas...go figure! But I still think Torhs will have alot of good competition, but your right the most elite teams will be at Narch.
