As many of you may know there has been a decent amount of American inline hockey players playing pro overseas in places such as Spain and Italy. My question is how do American players get the opportunity to play pro overseas? Are they scouted? Or do they simply test their luck at a tryout in a different country? Also, how much money or benefits do they receive for playing in these pro leagues?

am currently oversea's playing in Finland, they don't offer you much here in Fin. as it is more of a leisure thing for the players in the offseason from ice hockey, i did however score free room and food from the team and they treat you very well with stuff, pants girdle gloves helmet sticks wheels bearings anything you need for the game they usually supply you
