Skate Repair near Downingtown or downtown Philadelphia

Hi all,

There's no skate repair where I live, and I have 2 or 3 pairs that could use eyelets and rivets being replaced.

I'll be visiting Philly and Downingtown next week, and would like to get these fixed up while I'm there.

Are there any shops you'd recommend I visit to get the job done right?

I don't know if they repair eyelets, but Iceline rink in West Chester, PA will replace rivets. I don't think they will do it while you wait though. You may have to drop them off and pick it up another day.

I called Ice Line and they confirmed what you said. Eyelets may be a problem because they have one size and they may not fit my boots, but rivets should be no problem. They also said that it may take a day or so to get through them but that if they were not busy that they may be able to do them while I wait.

Any others? I only ask because I may not be able to get to them depending on work schedules etc, so it might be useful to have another option.
