sucks the only D1 teams teams going are mason and nc state. i predict the overall tourny should be a lot like apex.

yeah. im excited to see a rematch of that ecu/gmu game that was such a thriller. should be pretty interesting.

Im personally looking forward to watching Bethel this weekend (especially the CCU game). They have a tough schedule and this will be their first real test.

Also looking forward to watching our B team, as they have a tough schedule too.

so coastal is actually that good? i figured it was more hype but i guess we will see this weekend.

Great tournament this weekend everyone. We got off to some slow starts and add penalties to that is what killed us in our 2 losses. I give Bethel credit though, they brought their "A" game against us. It was nice to finally beat GMU as well. Any other thoughts?

Alot of great games and some late comebacks to make some exciting hockey. The season is setting up to be exciting. Bethel Def Broght their A game except for the NC State game they had last minute comebacks against CCU and GMU

i dont think ccu was as impressive as everyone makes them sound. they have an insanely good d and goalie, but they are struggling to score goals. only beat the weaker usc team 4-1...

gmason and bethel game was crazy. bethel fans on one side. every other team on the othe rooting against bethel.

When you have a group of scholarship players (in a club level league) plus that Number 11 (Foote?) kid who is a tool, it's quite easy to root against them. It's quite sad because the rest of the guys on the team seem alright.

It killed me seeing that misconduct penalty completely change the momentum in the CCU Bethel game. Its tough to make that call that in such a close game....

oh trust me...i was right there rooting against them and their purple helmets!

I heard what the CCU player said and well let's say it was well deserved.

Bethel reminds me of MLB's Yankees in a lot of ways.(pinstripe jerseys, unlimited money and resources, great starters with limited depth, fan knowledge of the sport and accustomedness to winning) It's uncanny how many calls go their way late in the game to get them back in games (Miami and CCU to name two)

Regionals should be more interesting than last year...

We take our fair share of stupid penalties. But the vast majority of our "dirty" penalties come at the end of the game after 2.5 periods of inconsistent calls that don't go both ways
