Hi Folks,

Here's some very sad news. Craig Charron, a talented ice and inline hockey player, has passed away from cancer.

Charron played 15 games for the Los Angeles Blades of Roller Hockey International in 1994, and he had a long and successful minor-league ice hockey career, mostly in the American Hockey League.

Very sad news indeed! I only met Sharkey a few times but I will always remember him for being as nice a person as he was as good a hockey player. We've truly lost one of the sports good guys.

Hi Ruppy,

I agree. I didn't get to know Craig well personally, but he was a great player. Our sport is lesser without him.
