The Junior Gladiators Announce Open Try-Outs for the 2011 Tournament Hockey Season.

The Junior Gladiators Travel Inline Hockey program has teams for players between the ages of 6 to 18. The majority of our tournaments will be at SGAA in Snellville Georgia. We will be taking our teams on the road this year for 3-4 regional or national events. The tournament directors have not yet released their official schedules but as soon as they do, we will have ours set.
Where: SGAA Dual Deck Arena; 2015 McGee Road; Snellville, GA
When: We will be holding two dates for tryouts. The tryout fee cover your entrance into both dates.
Sunday, October 3rd
8U 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
10U 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
12U 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
14U 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM
16U/18U 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM
Sunday, October 10th
Times to be announced.
We are looking to fill 6 teams minimum. Each roster will carry between 8-10 players.
Our program is going to offer families several options this season for fundraising to help reduce the costs to participate.
The first tournament events will not take place until March 2011.
Practices for these teams will not begin until 2011.
Informational meetings will be held 15 minutes before the tryout time for each age group.
No program fees or deposits will be required at the time of tryouts this season. Tryouts will simply cost $25 per player required at signup - tryout fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and pays for either one or both sessions. Attendance at both sessions is strongly advised.
Players must bring the following to tryout:
- Full inline hockey gear
Required equipment includes NOCSAE certified hockey helmet with facecage, elbow pads. hockey shinguards, hockey gloves, mouthpiece, stick and skates. Contact David Melton at our SGAA DUAL DECK PRO SHOP at 770-979-7940 for pricing.
- Light and Dark colored jersey
- The Informational meeting will answer all questions (player costs, length of season, player eligibility, team parameters, player requirements, how much travel, and etc….)
- Must have your 2010-2011 AAU Membership Card with you
All persons trying out are required to arrive 15 minutes before the meeting to fill out the necessary paperwork.
