Vote to help a Phoenix-based organization win the Pepsi Refresh Project to support the growth of roller hockey in the Valley.
Getting the grant idea approved by Pepsi was just the start. After four long months of submitting grant proposals to Pepsi for the Pepsi Refresh Project, our grant idea, "Open an inline hockey rink and sports plex for children of Phoenix, AZ," has finally been approved and posted on the Pepsi Refresh site.
You can vote twice a day! Once by texting-- To vote: text 102472 to PEPSI (73774) and once online on the Pepsi Refresh website. To get to our page, visit:

About our grant proposal:
Arizona Hockey Advocates is planning on opening the first non-profit inline hockey/sports center in Phoenix. Our goal is to get as many kids involved with the sport as possible, while keeping the costs to a minimum.
We will continue to grow the opportunities through Free Learn to Skate/Play Hockey Programs. The development will continue with recreational leagues, and eventually travel level opportunities.
In the past 2 years we have been able to run 100+ kids through the program, with a facility we will be able to increase that number by up to 6 times.
We have received both financial, and in kind, support from the local Hockey shop.
We continually receive donations from within the community.
We are working with the local ice rinks on a program that will allow the kids the opportunity to participate in both venues.
Currently, many healthy activities are becoming unavailable due to lack of funding. We are trying to add a great value to the community with this project.
