FERVENCY CLOTHING LAUNCED
Fervency Clothing, created by hockey players and fans, launches its new line for the summer of 2010.
LONG ISLAND, NY, JULY, 2010 – Fervency Clothing® makes a splash on the scene, as it announces the launch of its brand new summer 2010 line, with items currently available online.
Designed “by the passionate, for the passionate,” Fervency Clothing is a Long Island-based apparel company that prides itself on innovation and motivation. Founders Jim and Joe Tamburino, along with a tight-knit staff of close friends who have the same ambitions, artistically fuse the concepts of music, sports, friendship, family, and living life passionately to craft a company whose mission is simply to inspire and be inspired.
"The idea originated from the passion I have for many things in my life, including my love for music, sports, particularly hockey, my passion to write, and of course I have to admit it, fashion,” said Jim Tamburino. “Combining the love for all of these things has led to the creation of several designs and quotes, ultimately leading to the foundation of the clothing company. While writing and music obviously go together, the passions for each other reflect one another. These arts can be portrayed in fashion. Art, especially music, and fashion go together and this idea is portrayed in our products. Sports have played a significant role in my life and the passion I have for them is portrayed in some designs. It's just the idea of 'Living Life Passionately', no matter what it may be that you're passionate about. Our products, modern, fashionable and independent, represent that belief."
One staff member of Fervency Clothing, Joe Restivo, added, “We are asked all the time. The word ‘Fervency’ means ‘intense, powerful emotion; passion.’ We want to reach out to those who are passionate. Everyone is passionate about something. Just read our website’s Vision Statement, which Jim wrote himself.”
Angels & Kings, a popular lower east side hangout owned by Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz and seen numerous times on MTV’s Real World Brooklyn, hosted Fervency Clothing’s official release party on July 3, 2008, as local Brooklyn indie-music favorite Kevin Devine serenaded a packed house of patrons, including Sugar Ray’s Mark McGrath and Midtown’s Rob Hitt.
While working with artists such as Kevin Devine, The Ataris and Oh, The Story!, Professional Hockey Players Chris and Peter Ferraro, WWE Wrestler Evan Bourne, and many more, the Fervency Clothing family is looking to make additions to their sponsored artists and athletes list in the near future. The company hopes to collaborate with those who inspire them and those they have developed personal friendships with over the years. In May 2009, Fervency Clothing was pleased to announce that they were invited as a vendor to The Bamboozle Music Festival at The Meadowlands Sports Complex. In addition to The Bamboozle, Fervency Clothing was also invited to appear at 2009 Baltimore Fashion Week in August. Following the New Year, the company was featured in Hot Topic in Smithhaven Mall as a cross-promotional project to promote the new line and sponsored act, Last Days of Summer – www.myspace.com/LastDaysofSummerNY.
As for the current schedule, Fervency Clothing recently celebrated its two-year anniversary, along with the release of its brand new line. With several parties and events lined up at various clubs, bars and venues throughout the Northeast, Fervency Clothing is looking to expand throughout the U.S. and is currently coordinating the opportunities of selling their products in local stores.
While the staff is always planning new events, working on new designs and product upgrades for the upcoming season, Fervency Clothing would like to thank you for all of your support.
