Can someone tell me why Itan Chavira is not playing in the IIHF´s this year? I've heard about a conflict. Can someone confirm or deny?

im pretty positive that he's playing ice hockey in finland now

according to the narch website, Itan was playing in the Las Vegas qualifier last weekend with Pama... So we know he's not injured. Maybe he missed the tryout date?

Itan is playing with PAMA at the AAU junior olympics. They just won their 1st game 6-2.
