PIHA midwest

What ever happened to the PIHA Midwest? if i remember right there was a Chicago, Cinci, St. louis and a midwest team.

Dave Garland was the midwest and he got run out of town from what I understand. I can only imagine where the sport would be today, if Dave was still involved. He was so ahead of the curve and such a forward thinker. That division was leading the way for new ideas and not long after Dave left it comes to no surprise to me that the division folded.

It's a shame because there is so much great hockey in St Louis, let's hope another Dave Garland steps to the plate in that region.

MLRH is in the process of talking to teams for the St. Louis division for the 2010 season.

Dave did do a great job with the league. Some of the same problems and conflicts between the different rinks came up, just like they always did, and killed it.
