Anyone have any recommendations? I'm getting tired of getting giant puck bruises on my inner thigh. I ordered the reebox 7k roller hockey girdle, but the damn thing barely covers the front of the thigh let alone where the pucks end up hitting me.

sew an inner pocket at the point where you get hit & buy some soft foam at a local hobby store...custom made girdle works every time.

I have a mission girdle. It seems to have pads in all the right places. Little pads on the inner thigh also

I have an old mission girdle too, though I rarely use it anymore it seems to cover everything.
Perhaps you need to look into your shotblocking technique and body positioning more so that you're taking the shots in the shin pads / front.

I wear a Mission gridle as well, I seem to like it.
I used to wear a girdle by cooper. I think they were called cooperalls, that one was the best, not as bulky as the Mission and the pads seemed to be little better.

recently we switched from the mission girdle to the reebok 9k. we have used the mission girdles exclusively for a number of years but needed to find something with a little more tailbone coverage- the 9k has a tailbone cap with excellent coverage. He was really pleasantly surprised with this girdle- it was not bulky at all, and allow plenty of movement without restriction that you get from higher profile pads. Its really breathable and lightweight. We opted for the 9k over the 7k because we did not want the upper hip/back pads, and the coverage in the thigh on the 7k did not seem to wrap around as much- on the 9k the padding wraps around the front to the inseam between the legs. A bonus was that the reebok girdles also dont have the leg straps for the cup that he found annoying on the mission girdles.
This is definitely not a dis on mission, we use MANY of their products, and my young kids still wear the mission girdles. also, we choose to support companies that support roller hockey whenever possible- we would pick a mission product first for this reason if an equivalent one was available. I think in the end both the 9k and the thorax are really good girdles, its just finding the right balance of protection/freedom of movement that suits your personal style/needs.

Much obliged. It's so hard to see where the pads begin/end on the 9k's in pictures. To the inseam would be perfect. I find it odd that the 7k stops where it does. It covers like half of the thigh area the outside half.

Best bet is to get a Tour Girdle. It's very light but does the job.
