Inline Hockey Shut Down in Shenandoah

The only indoor, inline hockey facility in the Houston area was forced to close its doors in the middle of the spring season because of a dispute over a water line.
3Star Ice/Inline, which operates the only indoor facility in the Houston area, was shut down last month after Shenandoah filed a restraining order for failure to hook up to the city’s water and sewer system. The closure abruptly halted the season for about 300 families, including youth, high school and college level teams, adult leagues and even the Houston Women’s Roller Derby.
