Hello, I am new to this board and a Fan of the AIHL. I have watched numerous games this season, my two children absolutely love to watch these games. I came across these boards, and was wondering what everyone thought would happen in the playoffs and who would win their divisional playoff round?

I am not familiar with the west and south but I have watched many games in the New England, Atlantic, and Colonial Divisions.

From what I have seen I believe it will play out like this:

New England:

Rd 1

495ers v. Fire Ants- 495ers in 2
Suffolk v. Boston- Swamprats in 3

Rd 2:
495ers V. Boston- 495ers in 2

Atlantic (the division I have watched the most)

Grizzles V. Cyclones- Upset cyclones in 3
Brawlers V. Wolves- Brawlers in 3

rd 2:

Brawlers v. Cyclones- Brawlers in 2

Colonial:

Bandits v. Mavericks- Bandits in 2
Robins v. Inferno- Robins in 3

rd 2:

Bandits v. Robins- Bandits in 2

What do the players think, I am really interested in this league and hope to see my kids playing in it one day.

Also I like what the college league is doing with there website and broadcasts. I have heard that the finals for AIHL will be on ESPN 360 or something is that true? Will the league be doing anything else to promote itself while the best teams are out in Florida battling it out?

thanks jeff,

there is a tentative schedule for disney at the bottom of the website, it is a little bit confusing but i was wondering if this is what they are going by or if the league is setting something else up.

from the looks of it the conference semis and part of the conference finals are played on saturday and the rest of the conference finals and overall finals on sunday.

is that accurate? if thats the case it looks like alot of potential games in a 2 day period.
