Division II

California
Chico State
Cincinnati
George Mason
Grand Valley State
Kennessaw State
Metro State
Missouri State
Neumann
Rowan
SIU - Edwardsville
Stephen F Austin
SUNY - Brockport
Tampa
UC San Diego
West Chester
Alternate 1 - Missouri S&T
Alternate 2 - Miami
Alternate 3 - St. Louis (SLU)
Alternate 4 - Temple

The only team I dont understand getting a bid is Chico State. While I understand that the west coast does not have much of a presence on these boards I do not see how a confernce that does not look very strong gets 3 bids. IMO any of the 4 alternates are more deserving than a 8 loss chico state.

Just my .02 as a WCRHL observer, but the parity in the division definitely does not equal a division that isn't very strong. It's a common misconception that holds untrue in this case.

The entire division was very close, and Chico (who is actually a 7 loss team, not 8) beat national bid Cal twice in the same regional tournament, in round robin and in the semifinal, 6-2 both games. They also had a 2-0 regular season record against UC San Diego, the other national bid.

Chico went 5-1 in their last 6 regular season games and 3-1 in regionals, against pretty stiff competition.

The bid is valid.

Weak Sauce, how has the WCRHL done at nationals in the past few years?

Sheesh!!

C'mon!!

Do you realize how this makes UM look?

You know the US Supreme Court just might like to have you around. You cant stop comparing your team to everyone else and begging to get UM noticed for their good play. You didnt win the games you needed to when they really needed to be. Last years teams are different than this years, semesters are different for some teams.

Yet you got an alternate bid.

say Thank you and slowly walk away from the keyboard.

D2 teams who feel snubbed by not receiving a bid:

If you would've played D1, you'd have been no lower than a 4th alternate!
