The Health Trust wants to sell its property that's now home to San Jose Skate, but there's much opposition

How many million laps have been skated at San Jose Skate, formerly the Aloha roller rink, over the years? How many people met their future spouses there? How many children went to a birthday party there, and how many San Jose teens felt cool rolling around the track—unlike any other place in their teen lives?
To hear the rink's former owners, patrons and longtime San Jose residents tell it, the roller rink on Blossom Hill Road wrapped itself around the community so well that many people are stunned that it might close.
