If you were a coach putting together the top line of the best players the NCRHA- so 4 players and a goaltender- who would you pick-out of each division?

Theres alot fo kids in the college league that I do not know.... but I know that keene and mariotti together is a nightmare to play against and awesome to play with.... (they skate together on our tourney team).... I think those two are an easy selection for this topic.

The "Best of the NCRHA"? Humm........
Mike Keating - Rowan
Jason Yokubison - Central Michigan
Sean Sullivan - Lindenwood
Eric Keane - West Chester
Jimmy Steger(G) - UMSL
Steve Inge - ROXBURY 8
ps - tough decision leaving both Fenkell (Mich. St.) and Bokina (Lindenwood) out.

I could only do it from what I've seen from my region, so for the SECRHL I'd say:
Connor Cafferty
Michael Thiefault
Jeff Kotcher
Greg Boyd
Clark Colismo (G)

Ouch! How the heck did I overlook Laricchia. My bad. Don't know who I'd take out of my top 5 to put him in, but he sure does deserve it. Put a gun to my head, probably Yokubison. Just hate to second guess myself.

From looking at last years Division 1 1st team- which was a line as stacked as I've ever seen in the history of the NCRHA- it would be extremely hard and somewhat stupid not to say Walser (a tall premier scorer with some of the best hands in the country) and Fenkell (who plays with more intensity as anyone I've ever seen and in my opinion from watching him play these past few years has become the full package)- they both deserve to be on my top line....but with Gouge and Tallo gone now I'd replace them with Johnny Mac and Brendan Nelson...although those two are no Tallo and Gouge...my goalie would still be Steger however there are some hot goalies in the MidWest...
Without question Laricchia would belong there but he's not in the league anymore. Orange Coast College dropped out of the WCRHL after the season opening tournament in October.

The top four players in the country are for sure walser, Sullivan, Johnny mac, and Marty gwodz from umsl. I know that's three forwards but those are hands down the top forwards and players in the country. Like hwood said above walser is one of the prime scoters out there if not the best. He's a big guy with a sweet pair of hands whose great at using his body. Johnny mac shouldn't need much intro he's a sick player and same with Sullivan. They both can dish and score at will! I think those three have really shown their skills in the ncrha and also they seem to follow it up at the best tourneys in north America- narch and torhs. Nelson is solid and same with yokubisonand inyoue. All good players but te three I mentioned before stand out every where and time they play!

Gwodz is not as talented or skilled as Fenkell...

Hey! I'm just giving my opinion. Not very nice, since you don't agree with my opinion, for calling me "stupid".
Funny, when you started the thread - you asked for people's opinions, then call them "stupid" when they don't agree with what you think. Why did you start the thread with a question? You should have said "here are the top 5 players in the NCRHA, if anyone thinks differently you're somewhat stupid."
Since you know who I am, would you be kind enough to let me know who you might be?

Haven't seen em both play so I can't really say. Marty is probably one of the smartest players I've seen play and he is probably top 3 fastest I've seen. Definitely top 5 or 6 in the NCRHA.

If your going by best toe drags Ryan Dauernheim has to be on the top of the list.

you'd have to replace him with a dman if you're going for a line
They might not crack anyone's list here but, out of the WCRHL, Nick Robone (UNLV), Vance Wilson (Northridge), Brian Ganz (ASU), Tyler Koressel (ASU), and Georgie Barber (Citrus) are all sick and can play with anyone.

I tried to convince him to bring that action to the JC team, but he didn't want to make Eric look bad... His toe drag is almost as good as David Fisher's.

Tough to give an opinion when the d1 and d2 players really don't play each other for everyone to see and compare. Maybe break this thread up into divisions? I like the way Keene mariotti jones amand and chappius play. I know that's five but I come from an ice hockey background so I'm grandfathered into being able to pick five. Keyes and the west goalies do a good job. The gmu goalie played well too.

in dII I would definately say marriotti shaw chappius and keane...its not that close...neumann and brockport are the strongest they have ever been..id put those 4 up against any 4 in dII

That was a GP joke... I was referring to the David Fisher who played for SLU a few years back. We all knew the move was coming and which move it was going to be, but it took us a couple of years to finally stop the good ole toe drag.
