Ohio State University and Eastern Michigan University Upset Central Michigan University at the Midwest Championships.
OSU is very fast and after CMU takes a bad penalty they put in goal after goal to take the win from CMU who dominated the game. OSU wins:mad:

EMU came on strong. CMU pulled with in one goal but EMU has a play off goalie in Jamie See and EMU upsets CMU at the regional. EMU wins.:D
They almost took out MSU but the strong forcheck by MSU dominated the play who went into the lead and put in an empty net to finish. MSU wins

OSU has come out at the turn with some very fast players. They will catch some teams who come out flat because they are very fast.

Games in the D2 regional were exciting. Ball State came out with fire and put up a really good game against us. Both games we played between Grand Valley were extremely close. We lost the first in overtime and the second in the third. Looking forward to see everyone in Cali.

Repeat of Last year in the DII national championship game is a definite possibility, Two teams from the MCRHL. Cincinnati vs. GVSU final would be a show. Cincy's style is a lot like that of teams from the east. They are a puck posession team that will kill you with their powerplay. And for that they should do well at nationals.

I agree the Midwest teams are getting hot and peaking at the championships.
I watched the Cincy and Grand valley games, two different type of teams. Cincy has playmakers a tourney type team and GVSU has a dozen hard woking players that work hard and keep playing hard thats why they won the finals in the 3rd period.

MSU and OSU are playing better than the whole year they will bring two strong teams to san jose. Central Michigan is a tournament team and have 4 players that can score at anytime in the game. I think the reason they lost to Eastern was that there top players did not produce goals, EMU shut them down with a defensive style of play.

We play with 6-8 players. GVSU has I think 3 lines. This is how we lost in OT we just ran out of gas.

GVSU has 6 forwards 3 lines and 4 defenseman 2 lines. Two extra guys. They dont have any single guy putting up all of their goals though either. Just looking at their stats everyone seems to have around the same numbers.
