Hi Folks,

Lots of posts about MLRH here lately. ;)

Here's another. In my book on Roller Hockey International, I'll also discuss Pro Beach Hockey, Major League Roller Hockey and other ostensible professional leagues. Who knows what the following acronyms stood for in Major League Roller Hockey's three divisions in 1998: MLRHC, MLRHGL, MLRHS?

I think I know what the latter two acronyms mean, but I'm unsure about the first...

MLRHC - Major League Roller Hockey Championships

MLRHGL - Major League Roller Hockey ? League

MLRHS - Major League Roller Hockey Series

That's it. Thanks! I couldn't figure it out, but I knew it couldn't be "Central." lol. ;)

The coastal division was originally going to be the East Coast division as it was made up of East Coast teams. Then Anaheim was added and it was placed in that division hence it was renamed the "Coastal" division as it had one team clear on the other coast. That had to have made for costly travel on the part of Anaheim that year.
