Come see the undefeated Detroit Revolution take on the Washington DC Filibusters on November 22, 2009 at the Revolution Arena within the Gemini Skating and Sports facility, formerly know as SkateZone.
Last weekend the Detroit Revolution opened up their season with a perfect record, only allowing 3 total goals between all 3 games, and scoring 28!
Admission is $5 for all 3 games.
Doors open at 4:30PM. Snack Bar is open; 50/50's will be offered.
Washington Filibusters AA vs Detroit Revolution AA - 5:00 PM
Washington Filibusters AAA vs Detroit Revolution AAA- 6:00 PM
Washington Filibusters PRO vs Detroit Revolution PRO- 7:15 PM
The Revolution organization is comprised of 3 teams:
MLRH2 or "Pro" Division--full contact, fighting is legal; skill level similar to Narch Adult Gold; $10,000 prize to the winner of the league championship
AAA--similar skills as the Pro division without the full contact and legalized fighting; this division will be similar in talent level to Torhs Adult Gold
AA-this is the minor division for players with individual talent who are learning advanced team skills, including pp/pk and the 3 "P's" of hockey--passing, patience and puck control.
The Detroit Revolution will be playing against teams from:
Grand Rapids -- Lazer Skate in Cedar Springs, Mi---Michigan Thunder
Chicago -- Hat Trick Hockey in Palatine, Ill.---Chicago RollerSnakes
Cincinnati -- Sports Plus Ohio in Evendale, Ohio---Cincinnati Smoke
Pottstown, Pa-- 422 Center, Pottstown, Pa---Pennsylvania Blackout
Fairfax,Va -- The Box, Chantilly, Va---Virginia Wings
Washington, DC -- The Box, Chantilly, Va---DC Filibusters
