Hi Folks,

As the band Rush so eloquently stated, "Changes aren't permanent, but change is." There's no guarantee that IHC will be around in its current format sometime down the line.

Since that's the case, I'd like anyone who is interested in purchasing the book I'm writing on Roller Hockey International to send me an e-mail at [email protected] as soon as possible stating that fact.

It won't mean that you're committing yourself to buy the book, but it will show a potential publisher that there is a strong interest. Please tell all of your friends whom you think might be interested in such a book. [There will be chapters on Major League Roller Hockey and Pro Beach Hockey as well, for anyone who's interested in those leagues. FYI.]

While there's still a huge amount of work for me to do to finish the book, I do feel very confident that I WILL finish it, and that it will be of high quality and supremely interesting to anyone who cares about our small but great sport. People whom I highly respect believe that the book will make a great movie, too. [Let me know what part you think you should play, and I'll pass it on to the company that eventually makes the movie. ;)]

Thank you, as always, for your support.

Just have to ask - Is it going to be one of those "Buy this for $19.99" things and then we get two for $19.99...If so, put me down for one and I'll find some bathroom to stick the other in...

Good Luck in finishing the book!!

O by the way, Im sure Troho will follow up and say I should play the gorilla in the scene at the zoo....

While I wouldn't mind wherever I'd have to go to buy copies of Richard's book, and I sent my pledge as did others, I am more concerned for the message maybe hidden in between the lines of what he wrote.

While you may be pledging to buy a book today, don't forget about pledging your loyalties to Inline Hockey Central and all it means to you and to our sport tomorrow.

Just a thought... Why not send a message to all your inline hockey friends on Facebook to Be A Fan of Inline Hockey Central and drop some good words to help drive some much-needed visitor traffic and revenues to help keep this site alive and thriving!

Best!

Richard, Do you have an expected, or desired release time frame for the book ? For example Summer 2010.

Also, as far as IHC what kind of changes might we expect ?
