The Great Plains scheduling is pathetic. First and foremost, the schedule is posted days before the games will be played leaving teams no time to plan anything outside of hockey. This needs to be addressed immediately. Players have families and other commitments outside of college roller hockey, which need to be accommodated. Secondly, there are teams following this second weekend that will have eight games played and other teams, which will have five. Simple math should fix this issue. Additionally, many teams travel to St. Louis that pay for hotels and then do not play of Sunday. Just another reason to have the schedule out earlier, so that money is not wasted on unneeded stays. However, these mistakes are not the greatest grievance in regards to Great Plains scheduling. The times of which teams are playing is a joke. Last week Truman State had two games back-to-back. It might have been Kansas State, I cannot recall. Several significant match-ups are being played immediately following one of the teams playing in a game. Missouri State this week plays UMSL just hours after playing Kansas State. Likewise, UMSL plays Lindenwood following game just hours before. If you want to have the best match-ups be great games have the players on both teams be fresh. The scheduling of the Great Plains have never had these issues in the past. Lets get it fixed so we can have better games and stronger national image.

I agree. Lindenwood plays 3 games, while UMSL and Mizzou play 5. Wouldnt a 4 game schedule work a little better? Also, UMSL is set to play 3 games on saturday. First they will have to wake up for a 9am, and then play Lindenwood 2 hours after the game. Then they play MO State later that night. Missouri State is a top D2 team for sure. Luckily for UMSL they will be coming off a very recent game. I see that 6pm game as being 2 VERY tired teams.
In addition, some of the match-ups are rediculous. Mizzou is set to play an untested team (SIUC,) and 0-3 team (Western ILL,) and a 1-3 team (SEMO) with the 1 win being against Western Illinois. Certainly not to bash on these new, or relatively new, Division 2 teams, but scheduling them against a D1 team is absurd. Mizzou is 0-3 also, but 2 games were against the 2 top teams in the nation, and 1 was against a very, very good JC team. To ask these D2 teams to drive down for their 2nd weekend of games, and play a D1 team is asking alot more than should be.

Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I'm not giving these D2 teams enough credit. Maybe I'm giving Mizzou too much credit. We will see this weekend.

What happened to Lindenwood B Gold? They aren't on the GP website or NCRHA site.

They are still on the schedule. Looks like someone switched them to the Masters Division, which is not an NCRHA Division, and that took them off the team list.

This link shows their season schedule: http://greatplainshockey.com/team.php?team_id=53194&area=schedule

I just tried to do the same thing, and got the same result. I'm trying again, and will post my results if successfully or not.I've been away from this for awhile. Getting back into it today and will post more specific findings.
