Several folks have expressed to me, after a post I put up, an interest in scoring 2 tickets to the NHL Winter Classic at Fenway Fark in Boston, MA, which is played January 1, 2010.
That said, before I put a listing up on eBay for the 2 extra tickets I have to the NHL Winter Classic, I thought I'd give everyone on the forums at Inline Hockey Central first shot.
My contact at the NHL came through with 2 tickets. However, I also entered the Ticketmaster Lottery, just in case the deal with my NHL contact fell through, and low and behold I got an email this morning telling me that I could buy 2 tickets today and that's where the 2 extra tickets come into play. I paid for these things - so they won't be free.
As much as I dispise, all you Philadelphia Flyers fans, and I know who you all are, I'll even throw in an Amtrak "Free Companion Fare" coupon. My son and I are taking the Amtrak Acela from Edison, NJ, to Boston, South Station, and with the "Free Companion Fare" coupon, we're only paying $200 for 2 round-trip tickets, for the 8 hour round trip train ride. ($100 bucks a piece - not bad) So, all you Philly Fanatics could do the same from the Philly Amtrak station.
Now, there are a few guys that have already put me on notice, so - if you (ie. Mike Keating) really are serious, get in touch with me A.S.A.P. Here's my email: [email protected]
Anyone else - shoot me an email at the above email address and we can begin a dialoge.
PLEASE DON'T SEND ME A PRIVATE MESSAGE THROUGH INLINE HOCKEY CENTRAL.
