The 422 sportsplex in Pottstown PA. will be holding tryouts for the Pennsylvania Blackout of the MLRH.
Tryout October 31st from 1 to 3 pm.
I do not have any more info. I am not affialiated with this team or league in any way.
I had a game the other night and was told this info.
I want to help my local rink get the word out.

How is that going to work out? The Pottstown Firebirds played out of that rink and folded.

how old do you have to be to be eligible for non contact divisions, and also for the full contact divisions? great to see more teams in the med atlantic area!

Yes they did, that was about 5 years ago. The rink has new owners and new management. None of those people are involved. If you have any more positive feedback please contact the rink.

Yes, the 422 SportsPlex in Pottstown, PA will be hosting a team in the MLRH. The team will be called Pennsylvania Blackout, and I believe it will be the only PA team.

Tryouts are on Halloween (Oct 31), from 1-3pm at the 422 SportsPlex. This tryout will be for all three teams. Pro full contact, Pro non contact, and minor non contact.

I am still working with Bill on some details and will know more soon. I'll post info as I get it.

I use to play for the Jr Firebirds club, after the pro team folded so did we, I seriously doubt that it will be a lot of the same players that they had years ago. It might be just a few. Guys from PIHA and AIHL will probably join the MLRH Blackout team. Good luck PA Blackout!

The mlrh this year will be their best they have ever had. I am really pumped about this year.

Ever? When it started it had some big time players. MLRH in 1997-1998 had some ex and future NHL'ers and tons of IIHF players for Team Canada and Team USA.

I agree with Tro.... the marple glads for three seasons had most of team usa and the mudcats at the time on their roster.
