The Nj Surge will be traveling up north to CT for a Pre Season game against the Hartford Fireants. Should be a good game. Any thoughts out there?

We havent picked our final roster yet.
Couple reasons:
1.) The league was clarifying the official roster rules last week.
2.) Injuries. Some of our core players from last year are out right now or are not sure if they will be 100% for season start. Mark Miller shattered his femur and tore all the ligaments in his right knee in the playoffs against the 495er's last season. We dont know if he will play this season. Lisa Giovanelli has a patella injury and has surgery this week. Dont want to commit a roster spot either way until we know.
3.) Travel Commitments. We have a few players from out of the New England Region who are playing with us. Trying to firm up their travel for season.
I can tell you the roster for the Surge Exhibition game:
Elite:
Jim Miller
Matt Zuba
Tyler Dasilva
Nick Tomczyk
Tyler Meyers

It was a preseason game so there were local house league officials there.

I Thought it was a very good set of games to watch. The minor games were exciting to watch with 2 girls playing for the NJ team. They went 1-1 with Great Goaltending in the first game for NJ. As For the 2nd game it was a back and forth game like a regualr season game. Should be a exciting season for both minor teams.
As far as the Pro games go. the NJ Surge were led by Chris Havlock and TJ Plagher with multipoint games and the Fireants were led by Matt Zuba and Jason Kalish. Should be a good season for both the Ants and Surge.
