SECRHL Thoughts after first weekend

D2 should be interesting. I think Tampa is the front runner, but Kennesaw, Elon, and George Mason(biggest surprise) as well as Western and ECU have a shot at it.

Just curious, why do u say Elon, just looking at the results, Elon did not have a strong showing this weekend.

I thought we played well, especially playing against two good teams in Elon and Western Carolina this weekend. Our schedule was pretty tough.

D1: I can't wait to see UCF play FAU. As much as I hear about FAU, this should be an extremely exciting game. With the teams that I saw out of UCF and heard of with FAU, it seems like both teams are pretty even, but FAU might win the majority of the games when it comes down to who is in the crease. I think these are going to be the only two D1 teams going to nationals and they will both do a great job there.

D2: Tampa played real well this past weekend. They have a deeper bench now to help out with an awesome starting 4. George Mason and Kennesaw looked really good out there as well. These are gonna be your top 3 teams. Elon had a rough first weekend but they might step it up. USF looked like they control most of their games but they are going to need more than 6 skaters when they play the southern teams in their later schedules.

B: I felt like I was watching 12U, except when UCF played. They are the only team that isn't embarrassing. They will do well in nationals again.
