AIHL Rocky Mountain Division

How many of these teams are made up of teams from PIHA and are they out of the same locations? Ill be in Golden for work in late Nov, early Dec and would like to check out some hockey while im out there if i can.

The kodiaks are a team that has been interested in joining a league for a while. not sure of their PIHA conections.


I think that there will be cross-overs of talent. In addition, the guy that runs the colorado highschool league will be integral in this...I think there will be a glut of 16-18 year old talent.

the rocky mountain division of AIHL just had try outs this past week, a lot of us guys are playing both PIHA and AIHL, most cause PIHA lowered the price and we can play some kind of hockey until the new year when AIHL starts. The Kodiak's do not have a team in as i know, they wanted one but Fromm didnt have the time or the players to make it happen, not sure. As of right now, there will be two major teams out of colorado and i think two to four minor teams. they are holding another try out in mid october but for the most part this is whats going on in colorado
