While I can't speak for Bill Raue, I want to thank him for adding the SC Buccaneers to the league for the 2009 - 2010 season. We look forward to competing out of our new home, the Greenville "Pavilion". We look forward to making an impact in the community with "Red Ribbon week" coming up late October.

I'd also like to welcome Darcy Anderson as our new head coach and Colin Barrett as our new assistant General manager. As Bill's press release went out to the media in the state of South Carolina, the response has been very positive to our being welcomed to the new facility and community.

Darcy, was a member of the ECHL Greenville Growl and played with the franchise. It's exciting to see players of the caliber of Itan Chavira, Frank Szilaygi, Darcy Anderson, Marc Genest and the Buffalo Wings, to grace the rosters of MLRH teams. Erik Haak has a fantastic program in Buffalo and we look forward to competing with the teams in our "Southeast division" this upcoming season!

I also want to thank PIHA for their help, effort and support in trying to get a southeast division for the season. Charley Yoder and Jim Van Horn have been exceptionally great and professional with us. The Colorado Thunder who won the championship in PIHA last year eptomize what the sport is about. PIHA last season, kept their promises and delivered everything to us as promised and as they said they would.

So, that said, good luck to PIHA this season and to our brethren in the MLRH!

I think they will be playing in the mlrh pro league. I heard that a team called the myrtle beach manta rays joined the mlrh as well. The Virginia hawks I think have came back to the mlrh too.

"MLRH Pro" isn't until the spring. From November through March they will be running:

MLRH2: Full-contact cash prize division
MLRH-AAA: Non-contact elite division
MLRH-AA: Non-contact minor division

Teams that I know of are below, there's more but Im not fully informed of the Northerns teams, maybe Farinelli can chime in on those if I'm wrong.

FL: MLRH2 & AAA
SC: MLRH2 & AA
GA: AAA & AA
NC: AAA & AA
VA: MLRH2, AAA, AA
DC: MLRH2, AAA, AA
MI: MLRH2 & AAA
Detroit: MLRH2 & AAA
Pittsburgh: MLRH2 & AAA

I heard Chicago, Wisconsin, Cincy but Im not positive and they aren't on our team's schedule so I can't be sure.

That's what I got for now, thought I'd key everyone in. MLRH is looking pretty good this year. A lot of new faces and people who are going to make the product and events a lot nicer. Looking forward to it.

i don't understand how you can't be fully informed on who will be in your league???

because if they aren't on our schedule, they aren't in our path of returning to the Finals...and that's all we're focused on. Others know, I just haven't asked the actual team names. The MLRH north isn't something most teams in the south are going to see. Only the MLRH South champion will see a MLRH north team in the Finals. Relax man, the MLRH organization is coming along much nicer this year. It's gonna be a good year for the league.

Chris, according to the schedule Mike Farinelli showed me:

Michigan Thunder (Grand Rapids, Mi)
Detroit Revolution (Rochester Hills, Mi)
Chicago (does not list a team name)
Cincinnati (possibly the Smoke?)
Pittsburgh (on the schedule, but team name and rink affiliation unknown at this exact moment)

I can't speak for the teams other than the Revolution, but those are all MLRH2 teams above. I do not know which organizations will have AAA and AA teams also.

The Revolution is hoping to have 3 full teams, "Pro", AAA & AA.

The tryouts are Oct 18th 5-7pm; info is available at www.michiganmaddogs.com

I was only speaking about the North division that Chris was unsure of the teams. I did know that SC and FL were MLRH2 teams. I know Florida is on the schedule for Detroit during the regular season, but I guess we won't see your MLRH team until the finals............
