(KOC-CNA, Kaohsiung, July 25) Team USA maintained its perfect record Saturday on the third day of the 2009 World Games inline skating hockey tournament, setting up a showdown with France Sunday for the gold.

A finalist in the 2009 World Championships and the fifth-ranked team in the world, the U.S. took a 3-0 lead in the first half and held on after the break for a 5-2 win against Italy, at I-Shou University Gymnasium in Kaohsiung.

Joshua Laricchia had two goals and two assists to help his team improve its record to 4-0.

The U.S. will face France in the final game of the round-robin tournament Sunday, with everything at stake.
